The Beretta M9A3 evolved from the M9 service pistol as a modern version designed to perform exceptionally well in any tactical or home defense situation. At first glance, the M9A3 differs from the original M9 by the modular Vertec-style vertical grip, resulting in a noticeably thinner handle while making the gunpoint instinctively for rapid target engagement. Compared to the battle-proven Beretta 92A1, the Beretta M9A3 can use 17-round magazines instead of the M9’s 15-rounders. Unlike its 92A1 9mm predecessor, the new Beretta M9A3 comes with a factory-standard muzzle thread and a MIL-STD-1913 rail on the frame. The 5” long barrel is topped with a well-done textured thread protector and a tiny red rubber O-ring at the base of the threads. The Beretta M9A3 9mm Luger uses a universal slide with a combination of safety lever and de-cocker. You can easily convert the lever from FS to G mode (safety-decocker or decocker-only).
