Beretta APX A1 Carry 9mm 3" Barrel 8-Rounds w/ Burris Fastfire - $359.99 ($9.99 S/H on Firearms / $12.99 Flat Rate S/H on ammo)

Trigger is truly unremarkable, size, weight, and quality are good but it lost major stars in the rating because the model with the factory mounted Burris FF doesn't include a blank plate with a rear sight if you ever wanted to or needed to remove the Red Dot. It also comes with only 1 8 rd mag, where the non red dot equipped models come with one six and one eight round mag. Didn't include flat mag baseplates either. At $319 shipped from Locked and Loaded, less Beretta's $100 rebate that ended 12-31, it was still one heck of a deal. Updated April 1st, 2023 - After sending the pistol AND my letter full of complaints to Beretta, it came back about 6 weeks later and boy was it a surprise, first of all on a trigger gauge, the pull was just over 4lbs, still not in love with the way it pulls, but break in and training will get me better acquainted with staging the trigger slack (remember that slack is the only safety) and then the final 4.12lb break, and already expect to be able to hold my sights on target thru the pull, unlike before I sent it back and it felt like that binding feeling at the break would have caused sideways motion on the break. I looked a little deeper into the box and they had included a small pistol case/rug, and two standard mags so at this point I was almost ecstatic until I noticed the gun case was kind of heavy and said to myself, "wait there's more?". I unzipped it and low and behold there was their solution to my final complaint in the letter, no rear sight plate if I decided the trigger was still a no go and wanted to move the red dot over to another pistol, but I was totally blown away by how they resolved it, they sent a Complete Upper for an APX A1 Carry, including the Slide, Barrel, Springs, Internals and of course that elusive rear sight plate that I wanted! So, I can no longer complain about this particular pistol, their customer service resolved my issues and I still got a truly unbelievable deal on this gun including the FF3 Red Dot,199.99 net+19.99shipping+20FFLTransfer, given I already cashed the $100 rebate, and now I have two spare std capacity mags, a zippered gun rug, and a whole separate upper if I want to shoot with irons instead of red dot, without having to use tools to unscrew and swap and then loctite back into place, that eventually leads to stripped threads on something after a few switches.
