Is the same price or a bit cheaper to get a rosco or ballistic advantage (93$ with free shipping and no tax) from a different retailer.

I’m sick of people saying budget because it’s inexpensive. I’m not going to name names but I promise you many manufacturers you think are high end are not. Also many “made in USA” things you think are - are not. Packaged yes.

Wouldn’t calling something budget because it’s inexpensive be the correct way of saying it? Would you rather people just call it cheap?

It very much would be, and there's nothing wrong with using budget referring to inexpensive components. Just because it's budget friendly doesn't exactly mean it's "cheap", I've found a lot of components people often refer to as budget are just as good as some of the "premium" ones, sometimes even better. Just because something is expensive doesn't always equal better, some of the "premium" brands people spend absurd amounts of money on are actually what you'd call a "rip off", or "paying for the name/logo". The latter happens quite often in the firearms industry, sadly...

Had a similar issue, put this barrel in a budget AR build, short stroke issues, not enough gas coming back. Had to drill out the gas hole to the next size.
No issues after that... Is that worth $60 bucks. I bought another one today to keep for another build or trade.

bought one for a budget upper to try out a binary type trigger. the gas port was smaller than the std alignment pin and i had to open it up a little. once i did that it seems to work fine.

You really need to read the reviews on this barrel before you place an order.

A budget production barrel has a couple of negative reviews? Shocker.

So did any of you buy the barrel ?

No, didn't need a barrel. I do have their 10" barrel on a build with an H buffer. I may go to a H2 buffer, but it's given me no problems on the H. On sandbags, with a Sig Romeo MSR, I was getting ~2 inch groups with it sighting in at 50 yards. Hitting the 10 inch gong at 125 yards with it is quite easy.
