The Outerwild Outpost (White Label / DRG Manufacturing) 5.56 NATO 16″ Government Profile Barrel is machined from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium (CMV) steel, features M4 feed ramps, and a deep black, classic QPQ Nitride corrosion-resistant finish. M4 Extensions and barrels are finished separately before being torqued to their final specifications. The Outerwild Outpost 5.56 NATO 16″ Government Profile Barrel is configured with a Mid-Length gas system and a .750 gas block journal. What more could you ask for from a barrel with this much value?

Bought one of these barrels and while it looks to be good quality, there were a couple issues. The chamber/bore had a lot of machining shavings in it, took a lot of cleaning to get it all out. And the feed ramps had some concerning horizontal machining marks, which may have caused feeding issues. I should have taken a photo before I removed them. Aside from those issues, it looks pretty good, the finish is nice and it is dimpled for the gas block. Just wanted to share my experience purchasing this barrel. It was shipped quickly and of course the price was great. I will try to update once the build is done and tested.
Update on this barrel: It is a good value IMO...I tested it out with a red dot and am satisfied for the price I paid. The bore cleaned up nice and after breaking in it looks great, it seems very good quality, I would have no problem recommending it as long one performs an initial cleaning before installation.
