The Trijicon ACOG TA31RCO-M150CP sight was designed to the specifications of the US Army for the M16A4 weapon system with the 14.5" barrel. It's similar in nearly every respect to the TA31RCO-M4CP, but with the addition of fliip-up lens covers, updated external windage and elevation adjusters. Also, the sight is set to be parallax-free at 300 meters.

The red chevron reticle was designed to give fast target acuisition at close range, but also allow accurate engagement out to 800 meters with the bullet drop compensator in the reticle. (See diagram). The reticle also has horizontal hash-marked lines for centering the target.

The TA31RCO-M150CP comes with a TA51 flattop adapter for mounting to rifles with Picatinny or Weaver top rails. The TA31RCO-M150CP ACOG has dual reticle illumination, with fiber optic for daylight and tritium for low light conditions. The killFLASH® feature minimizes the effect of the muzzle flash on the view during low light operation.

NOTE: As of January 1st, 2013, all ACOG scopes are fitted with threaded bosses on the rear eyepiece so that RMR sights can be mounted to them. This means that the TA31RCOM150CP does not currently come with a rear lens cap as it once did. Trijicon will likely make a new style cap available.
