The model 442 is a double-action-only revolver, built on the J-Frame platform. It shoots a .38 special caliber with a 5-round capacity. This model represents a variation of the model 42 Centennial Airweight and integrates the best features of the original with modern advancements. It’s available with three different hammer designs. The front serrated black blade sight is integral and the pinched top strap groove rear one is fixed. The grip is made of black polymer, finely textured, and secures a firm grasp. The revolver has a carbon steel cylinder and a 1.875-inch stainless-steel barrel, while the overall length is just 6.3 inches. The frame is made of aluminum alloy material, for easy carry.
