Nice deal. Best I've seen in a while. I just purchased 250 of the same for $69.95 shipped from Botach.com. Those came out to $ 0.27 per round.

As others have stated. The free shipping stopped working. I still paid it cause running low, still cheaper than local and FedEx gets it here in a day for weekend outting. But next time will holding out.

I have been shopping around for an hour for ammo. Found a few better deals and will buy elsewhere. Was going to spend about $600-$800 with them tonight but...

Sportsman's guide is supposed to have free shipping with code CPNSHIP1708. I have a few more days of free shipping so I am going to buy a few hundred in .223 to get stocked up. Then I will probably be done with them. They usually never stock the brand I want.

Ths is our ship in Cold Bay, AK back in '88. God's country. USS Alaska alongside. http://thumbsnap.com/UCJann3T...

You may decide that it's time to roll your own,,, Besides equipment (Which can be used for multiple calibers) the biggest expense is the brass (Free to me) and your choice of projectile. (11 - 13 cents each for 1K 45 plated/coated online)
.
I typically buy just a pound of (pistol) powder at a time, primers by the brick (Both at Cabelas. Would be less if bought in bulk online) and use plated projectiles purchased online. Total cost for Consumable's in 45 is roughly 14-16 cents per round,,,

I've been reloading 9 the same way for about 13 -14 cpr.

223 is a bit more of a challenge to load 'on the cheap' as there is a lot more powder involved, and the quality/price of projectiles can vary. If 'spray and pray' is your game, it's probably just best to stick with steel case bulk .
With Rifle (any caliber),,, if you value precision, once you start reloading, you'll never buy bulk again,,, My '27 cent' reloads can easily 'equal or better' the accuracy of the 'buck a round' store bought stuff,,, .
Just something to think about,,,

This is amazing. First time online ammo buyer, so played it safe and order just 8 boxes. Was thinking no way it would make it for my birthday range day, esp dealing with IL FOID & DL checks.. So bought some ammo locally. Shipped from Iowa to northern Chicagoland, got to me in a DAY. On the day I was going to the range. So I ended up with 3x the ammo for the day. It was glorious!!! Will be ordering more next month for sure an even larger order if deal is still around.

I'm assuming they charge tax if you live in their state. They've never charged me before.

Why not order minimum $200 per order and get $20 off per $200 instead of ordering $150 per order?

Clarification makes more sense of what you did now. Good job. The Brownell's stuff is all about getting right to the closest break point. I use things like .49 detent springs to make the bump if needed.
