Thin but durable and comfortable Hypalon® straps contribute to its low profile. The accompanying 9x9 A2 Plates stop .308, M855, and M193 and weigh just 4.25 pounds. They can be dropped and shot and still keep their power. They resist backface deformation. These plates also come curved so they fit better on your chest. Each plate’s FragLock coating™ keeps a bullet’s fragments from hitting you after impact, with the base coat capturing or deflecting those fragments away.
