hmmm, so should i try out the fn 509c with 5 mags? (its on here for almost the same price as the reflex)

I would choose any gun over the Reflex. I wish I had researched the Reflex more before I bought it. I now know that accuracy problems are a common issue with the Reflex, and what’s intolerable is that FN is pretending that ALL the ones they’ve received back for shooting low are mechanical fine. That’s what the FN rep actually told me, but with “so many sent back for this exact issue” how could they all be user error? It’s obvious that FN is screwing its customers.
I got mine back from FN yesterday with an email telling me it worked just fine for them, just like they’ve told everyone else.

I just bought a Reflex last month and was finally able to shoot it yesterday. I now wish I’d never bought it. The accuracy with factory sights is very, very poor. It shot 6” low at 10 ft, not low left, just low. Perplexed, I moved to 5 ft to test and it shot 3 inches low. Then, just to make sure I wasn’t having a stroke or something I shot my P365 at the same target from 10 ft and all 5 shots hit the bullseye. I left the range happy to not be suffering from a stroke, but very frustrated with the Reflex and FN’s inexcusable lack of quality control.
Save yourself the frustration. Don’t buy this gun.

First off, good to hear about the stroke. As for the gun, you mentioned Point of Impact but nothing about group spread, ammunition types, bullet weight, velocity, sight alignment/sight picture, or shooter input. Assuming the FN's sights are within their dovetails I would analyze and experiment with these factors first, have a couple others shoot it for comparison, then contact FN, before deciding to dump the gun. At 10' most guns of this size will be stacking their rounds if the shooter is dialed in, regardless of Point of Aim/Point of Impact. I haven't shot this one yet but it should be a solid design. Good luck.

Thanks for the suggestions and encouragement. I contacted FN yesterday and expect to hear from them soon. I really want to like this gun and will continue trying to solve its logic defying inaccuracy. The groupings are normal, just low. However, I’m convinced my specific Reflex has an irreparable flaw that goes way beyond the minute adjustments we typically employ during a new firearm’s learning curve. By the end of my testing I shot 5 rounds upside down from 5 ft. This time all the shots were 3” high. No pistol should be 3” off from a 2” circle at 5 feet. With my Walther, Sigs, CZ’s and even my Tisas that I’ve bought in the last couple of years I consistently shoot clover leaf groupings in a two inch circle at 10 ft, even with my P365 that I also shot yesterday.
I plan to give FN a chance to correct this fundamentally flawed pistol and I hope they will correct the issue. If they won’t fix it then I will have learned a $500 lesson to never buy another FN. I will just stick it in the safe and count it as a loss. I would never sell a gun with a known issue to someone else.

Roger that. Good to hear. I'll assume FN will make it right...maybe they have an incorrect height up front. If not I know there are plenty of other sight options that will fit that dovetail so you can keep that guy shooting. Cheers.
