The pistol also maintains the cylindrical receiver and bolt design characteristic of the original Ruger Mark I pistol. The construction of the Ruger Mark IV Standard is simple yet durable, providing reliable performance whenever you need it. The cold hammer-forged barrel results in ultra-precise rifling that provides exceptional accuracy and longevity, while the Internal cylindrical bolt construction ensures permanent sight-to-barrel alignment and higher accuracy potential. The Ruger Mk 4 also features a one-piece CNC-machined grip frame, a contoured ejection port, a push-button magazine release, a drop-free mag system, easy-to-grasp bolt ears, and an ambidextrous safety. This Mk 4 Standard model also has fixed sights but is drilled and tapped for a Weaver or Picatinny rail. It also boasts an aerospace-grade aluminum receiver, a 4.75" barrel, and checkered grips.
