You guys realize that msrp for a glock 43x is around $350....going for $750 now if you can find one. This markup on the python is pretty small in % terms in comparison to the overall market.

Glock doesn't list an MSRP for their guns, but $350 ain't it, bro.
I for one am amped up to pay nearly $600 above full retail price. If they charge sales tax it would be over retail. This company continues to be one the most pathetic in the industry.
I picked up a 4" model for $1400 locally. I already have a 6" GP-100 and a 3" Taurus.
I'm going to be honest: I like the triggers on the other guns better. I really don't get the raves on the Python double action that you see in reviews. Yes,, it's light and smooth initially, but the Colt trigger stacks quite noticeably just before the hammer drops due to the design. This makes staging pretty much useless and impacts practical accuracy for those who are accustomed to a Smith or Ruger. It will take some getting used to. Otherwise, the gun is great.
