You saying that it has a G.I. guide rod?
seems a nice base to start with. I assume one could upgrade and customize this with the insane amount of aftermarket 1911 parts and accessories available these days. Or just simply leave it be and have an inexpensive 1911 to toss around without worrying over a scratch here and there. Id be in for one if it was in 9mm. Just not a huge fan of the .45 round. And yes I understand I am most likely opening a can of worms with that statement.. lol. Its alot like saying fords better than Chevy, or a dodge is better than a ford, etc... haha. But I just prefer 9mm rounds over the .45. Especially in the 1911.
Yep 9mm go to work round. 45 knock em down so they stay down.
Nice gun for the money. Only minor issues imo. Half length guide rod. Had one failure to go into battery with aluminum cased ammo. Brass fed and fired fine.
