This is a single/double-action revolver with a great tradition, considered as the world’s first stainless steel revolver. There are three models all built on Smith & Wesson’s small J-frame. It is quite small, with a 5-round cylinder, but at the same time very powerful, using .357 Magnum and .38 Special calibers. The grip is synthetic with a nice-looking texturing. The stainless-steel barrel comes in three lengths, 2.13, 3, or 5 inches. There is also a 60 LS model where ‘LS’ stands for Lady Smith. The recoil is very controllable even though it is an all-steel gun. The revolver has a blade front sight and fixed rear sight. Shooting .38 caliber is a pleasant experience, but handling 357 bullets requires a bit of practice, considering that Magnum caliber kicks more than 38 Special. Overall, this revolver is a combination of a classic retro look and modern manufacturing with a quite long history, suitable for self-defense and concealed carry, even though it is not considered a full-concealed-carry firearm. It’s amazingly comfortable to carry with perfect ergonomics.
