The Beretta A300 Outlander is a waterfowl hunter's greatest buddy because it combines quality, affordability, and adaptability. The A300 Outlander is without a doubt the best shotgun you've ever owned. It shoots considerably softer than other shotguns of a similar caliber when using 3-inch mag rounds. The A300 Outlander is a gas-operated system, like many of Beretta's semi-automatic weapons. The bolt is disengaged and the action is cycled by gas pressure that is vented from the barrel to a piston, which drives an operating rod. The weapon is fed via a tubular magazine that, with the plug removed, can carry up to three 2.75-inch rounds. Any 2.75 or 3-inch loads may be fired from the 28-inch barrel's 3-inch chamber, and the muzzle utilizes a variety of removable chokes to let you modify your shot pattern to the ammo and planned shot distances.
