The Browning 22 Semi-Automatic Rifle, shortly SA-22, was the first semi-auto rifle chambered in .22 long rifle ammunition. More than 500,000 copies have been sold since its introduction. The Browning Semi Auto 22 started as a 1914 model and is being manufactured today as well. It’s a takedown gun, which means that it was made to be disassembled, greatly minimizing its size and making transportation easier.
