Able to stop 95% of the rounds used in shooting incidents the Phoenix Armored Backpack is a low-profile armor system that weighs less than 3 pounds and is designed to stop the ammunition used in the majority of shootings. The backpack has the armor sewn into the pack and includes a generously sized compartment with a laptop sleeve. The large front pocket includes a key lanyard with hook and retention pockets for pens and other accessories. If you want a plate carrier with a minimalist profile that doesn’t sacrifice real estate, the AR500 Armor Veritas Lite™ is what you’re looking for. The Veritas Lite (Latin for “Truth”) is a slimmed-down version of our standard Veritas™ plate carrier, is comfortable, well-ventilated, and lightweight plate carrier for 10” x 12” hard armor plates. It includes plenty of PALS webbing for attaching your MOLLE-compatible pouches, holsters, and accessories.

These A1 plates provide level 3 plus protection and are rated to defeat 7.62x39/7.62x51/5.56 M193s, 5.56 M855 penetrators, and .223/.308 WIN rounds. Also, the custom steel alloy blend protects against several hits without shattering or breaking and provides multi-hit edge-to-edge coverage. Additionally, these A1 plates boast a 20-year shelf-life. Included with these two steel alloy plates are two trauma pads which are to be worn behind a plate to protect you from the blunt impact of the bullet.

The Black Testudo Lite Plate Carrier grants maximum coverage while shaving off the bulk of the Testudo Gen 2.0 by trimming the padding of the traditional design; like its alternative, it features a fully adjustable cummerbund and shoulder straps, making it more than a “one-size-fits-all” solution. The P2, due to its low weight 3.3 (+/- .3) pounds and buoyant qualities, provides high-grade protection that won’t fatigue you when you’re active and won’t endanger you when you’re near water. Tested independently to NIJ Level III standards, this polyethylene plate is capable of stopping the 7.62x51 M80 Ball at 2780 FPS. It has also been tested to stop some special threats; it will defeat 5.56x45 M193 at 3150 FPS and 7.62x39 AK-47 at 2380 FPS.

Our Valkyrie carrier is 100% designed, sourced, and manufactured in the United States, and features everything you could expect from a top-grade carrier: Dual admin pouches (compatible with our Kangaroo magazine pouch insert), a fully adjustable cummerbund, and generously sized Velcro ID panels all come as standard to the Valkyrie. Our A2 steel plates are tested to go above and beyond NIJ Level III standards: Due to the harder steel material, the A2 plate is tested for rifles including and up to 5.56x45 M193 and M855 at 3,000 FPS.
