The Faxon Firearms 7.62x39 Bolt Carrier Group is designed for long lasting reliability. The Bolt itself is made out of 9310 tool steel and Nitride coated to increase surface hardness even more. Additionally, they are shot peened and magnetic particle inspected to ensure safe and reliable function for thousands of rounds. The locking lugs are chamfered by 45 degrees to improve lockup for improved function and reliability with high pressure rounds. The extractor is made from S7 steel, which is optimal for resisting the violent shock of pulling cartridges out of the chamber after being shot.

This Faxon Firearms 5.56 AR-15 barrel features an integrally machined 3-port muzzle brake, so you don’t have to send your barrel and muzzle brake off to a gunsmith, spend extra money, and wait a crazy amount of time to get your barrel pinned and welded to meet the overall 16” length. This gives you the lighter weight and better maneuverability of a shorter barrel without having to go through the NFA. The muzzle brake also features a slim outer diameter, so you can easily install and remove gas blocks.
