This is my duty carry weapon. I absolutely love the way these pistols are made, how accurate and reliable they are and how well they fit my hand with all the panels options. The trigger is loads better than the standard issue g19. The only reason is would change, is for an "optic ready" version. These are great firearms and trust my life to that!
No offense, but a brick has a better trigger than a G19.
I know, I've got one....flat out worst trigger I've ever felt....and that includes a Daisy red rider or any other bb and/or pellet gun made.
Stock, they are seriously unshootable.
100% agree. The 1st Glock I ever bought was a G21 about 13 years ago. I was so stoked about that thing until I went and shot it, hated it. The trigger was miserable. Sold it after awhile and bought a Sig.
Fast forward 12 years, I wanted a 10mm for hog hunting. After tons of research, bought a G40 MOS longslide. Same miserable crap trigger. Did a ton of research and bought like $250 worth of trigger upgrades, still sucks more than anything I've ever owned. Paid a hefty chunk for that pistol, optic, trigger, holster, + other accessories and absolutely hate it. Just sits in my safe looking like a giant angry brick.
I haven't tried a gen 5 yet... Thought about buying one, but I don't even know why when I have plenty of other pistols with actual good triggers. I don't even know why people buy Glocks these days when there are so many better options, some at a better price point even.
One reason I don't carry the Glocks... Why would that offend me?
I’ve owned a couple of VP9s and they were very good. Ergonomics are second to none, they fit your hand perfectly. The trigger is good, not great, but definitely good. Not as good as the Walther PPQ/PDP triggers, but better than any Glock, M&P, or XD trigger by far. I didn’t think that the cocked striker indicator + plastic rear plate was really necessary, but I guess some people like them. At this price point, you can’t really do much better.
