Wish cabelas would get this in....oh well, Im overstocked now anyway with the brick sale they had at a decent price. If we just wait for the prices to come down, demand will dictate supply and they'll have no choice but to lower....also helps if you dont feel the need to keep your supply at 2000+. But when you like to shoot, you like to shoot. Just be patient and purchase the deals when they are there.
just be patient and purchase the deals when they are there .100%right .when i started target shooting again in january 2013.went to the new range&gun store.one place and they didnot have 22 lr .i said what? don't you know what's going on.did some looking into it and was shocked .remember $7.99 500 brick of remington. i donnot know if ammo is going back to that level .but this is what i bought and the price shipped remington &federal 525 pack .05&.06 cents a round winchester m-22 .06 cents a round CCI blazer .07 cents a round CCI mini mags .08 cents a round all shipped.Walmarts donnot sell ammo here.the only store is the 2 gun shop's one of them prices are high ,the other prices are the same i bought them at .but he doesnot have ammo some times because people go there to shoot.so i been buying when i see something and will not pay over .08 cents a round for 22 lr CCI mini mags are the best.08 cents people have to stop paying the .13,14,15,16 cents a round for this ammo i showed here.then there will be more instock because the resellers don't shoot.they are just going to the Walmart and were ever and buying up the ammo .to make money . check out this you tube video i found type into bar [ ammo shortage- make massive profit's] i donnot resell my ammo for profit its to go shoot and have fun .
Prices on all ammo should be coming down soon. Thats another reason I wont over pay for it. The most Ive paid for 22lr is 7.50 per 100 for cci mini mag at wally world...i just check the ammo section 1st thing in the morning when I go there, and if its there, I buy the limit (3). Gun prices are already coming down....the ammo will follow. For us new shooters of 22lr, the deals are out there if you can just be patient and know where to look (academy's also has decent prices). But thats if you live near one.
