These are great! Super fit & finish, I was using the UTG S1 stock but it tends to be loose on the buffer tube. Not this B5 clone, get a few!

Snagged 3 to put on 3d printed 2a projects. WAY easier than printing a stock.

CharitableLover,
I use an Ender 3 V2 myself, the amount of filament and print time saved is definitely better spent on this stock.
Keep printing!

I wish these were in FDE,I bought 2 B5 SOPMOD stocks in black a while back and they are amazing.I recently decided I wanted you use FDE furniture on one of my carbines and my 10.5” pistol build.I bought a airbrush kit a while back because my ultimate goal is to multicam this carbine and the 10.5” pistol.I don’t want to multicam everything, just the upper receivers, lower receivers, the handguards and the optics.I want to do my stock/brace,pistol grips, foregrips, buffer tubes, magazines and optic mounts in FDE to add some contrast and to break up the monotony of the multicam.I think it will look better like this and will still be an effective camouflage.I guess I will just have to Duracoat the B5 SOPMOD I already have and will do it in multicam as well.unfortunately Duracoating my SBA4 brace isn’t an option so I will have to stick with the FDE and then replace the black strap with a multicam strap…with all that being said,If I could go back I would’ve definitely went this route instead of the B5.Im sure the B5 is slightly higher quality but definitely not enough so to warrant a $90 price increase.this is one hell of a great deal.hell, you can’t even get a Magpul MOE at this price and I would much rather have this than a MOE

I wish you would have posted this a few days ago I seen the B5 stock ( not sopmod tho) and grip for like $45 it was either odin works or Phase 5 I just went back to look and cant find it, I believe it as a flash sale, which I kinda hate because you gotta get right then. on the other hand here's what I did, I wanted the b5 sopmod system too for my rifles, best I could do was go to PSA and buy their KIT, I got black, FDE, OD GREEN came with lower parts kit and nickle boron polished trigger for the extra $20 bucks which IMO is well worth the extra $ unless you gonna replace with another ? even tho you'll have some better mil specs for future builds.... I believe I gave $149 for B5 Sopmod stock, grip, and LPK W/ nickle looking trigger the sopmod stock alone is $100 grip around $20 so its not cheap but its a great deal if you really want the B5. I also bought these GAUNLET sopmods for $8.99 and their great! bought 3 beside having a smoother texture and yes they do feel a bit cheaper in the actual stock I LOVE THEM they work great and you wont know the differance unless you have them next to each other as I do. hope this helps somebody out there

Just received my order today.
They're not as nice as my B5 stocks. They feel maybe 70-80% as good.

QD swivel doesn't have anti rotation.
Fit is pretty decent only a very small amount of play on my milspec buffer tube.
Locks up solidly, and the adjustment mechanism feels stout.
Storage compartments have looser tolerances than my B5 stock. There's about 1mm of play between the locking notch and the plug.
The plugs for the storage compartment feel a little undersized, but the double o rings seem to take up most of the slack.
I'm going to experiment with slightly larger o rings. I think it would improve the feel substantially.

Butt pad is firmer than B5 stock

Maybe it's me, but the polymer the stock is constructed from just feels cheaper. I think there's some kind of glass fill on the B5 stock that makes it feel tougher.

Overall, for ten bucks, not bad.
Personally, if this were a SHTF build i would use the B5 version.
I wish they made this version in the "bravo" form factor for this price. It would be a no brainer.

@slappyhooper, I appreciate your in depth honest review on this SOPMOD Stock. As you can see, we wanted to offer a more affordable economically SOPMOD stock without having to break the bank. I will make some recommendations to the mfg. and see if we can't fix some of the extra movement and potentially get some larger O-Rings on there to accommodate for some of the storage compartments slop. Hope you have a great weekend, stay safe.

THAT is what we the consumer like to see. A manufacturer we honestly cares and wants to be proactive with the issues. Keep up the good diligence, Bird. That wins out in the end.

I bought a lot of these strictly because of price. I haven't actually put these into REAL use yet, just fitted them to multiple rifles and dry fire tested. So these are just some quick initial observations when compared to a B5 SOPMOD Enhanced, without real world testing:
Pros:
1) Excellent replica of a SOPMOD for the money.
Cons:
1) Fits loosely on every mil-spec buffer tube I've tried.
2) While the butt pad appears to be rubber, it is extremely hard......no cushioning effect at all, just grippy.
3) Not quite as much texture in the plastic as B5.
4) QD sling socket is full rotation, no rotation limiting stops.

Buy with confidence. At $10, this is the best deal I've seen. I bought 10.

Anyone out there with hands on experience vs the B5 Systems?

I have both, the difference I can tell is the gauntlet storage is a bit more loose, and smoother texture then B5, also the adjuster thingy to move the stock is also looser then B5, not to the point I would not use it, these stocks are great vs $100 + for a B5, I'm happy with them

While I do not have extensive experience with them, I do own both. The Gauntlet Arms fits nice and tight on my milspec receiver extension, has the storage if you are into that type of thing, but it does feel like the quality is slightly lesser. The B5 systems feel a little more robust, and refined. for the price I am not upset. I will run it hard, and if it fails I am out 13 bucks.
