Foxtrot Mike Products is a company that has become synonymous with innovation, and quality. We are pleased to say they have done it again, exceeding expectations with their new series of billet FMP5.56 .223 Wylde firearms. The traditional AR15 series has forever been hampered by the necessity of the buffer tube to cycle the action of the weapon system. Foxtrot Mike has created a revolutionary new platform, that while it uses standard Mil-Spec AR-15 lower receivers, has a vastly different action that allows for it to be fired folded or from a compressed position.

Meet the FMP5.56, a .223 Wylde firearm that utilizes dual internally captive recoil springs to create an AR-180-style action that functions without the need for an external buffer or buffer tube. The firearm is built with quality materials such as billet aircraft grade aluminum upper and lower receivers, a type III hard black anodized finish, and a 41v50 black nitride barrel with 1/2x28 threading and a 1:8 twist. This FM15-223-G2-12.5M-2PF model MIKE-15 features a 12.5” barrel for optimized ballistics, in a compact package. It uses direct gas impingement and comes with a 4-position ambidextrous forward nonreciprocating charging handle that allows the user to grab towards the front of the weapon to manipulate, instead of reaching behind your trigger finger/ hand to manipulate the action. That way you don't have to break your cheek weld and lose your sight picture as you typically have to do with traditional AR-type charging handles. It also comes with a Mission First Tactical pistol grip, an 11.75” free float MLOK handguard, ambidextrous fire selectors, uses a mid-length gas system, and comes with a lower receiver that sports an integrated 1913 picatinny rail on the back for you to add your choice of 1913 compatible pistol brace and brace host. One last feature to note, while the bolt carrier may appear to be a modified AR15 bolt, it features another revolutionary additive, which is a spring-loaded firing pin. Absolutely choked full of features and on the cutting edge of the firearms industry, Foxtrot Mike consistently offers an affordable, high-quality product perfect for plinking at the range, home defense, or personal protection while out and about.
