Been wanting one of these for years but told my self I wouldn't pay more than 200 for them.
well that day has come, and taurus has a 3 mag rebate right now.
However.. this particular dealer.. Be careful.. I think their stock is very old.
The gun I got seems fine.. but the threaded barrel adapter comes sealed in it's own little plastic baggie.
I bought this in person, I told the guy it looked like it had rust on it..
He was adamant it was "packing grease" I asked him to see if they had another one.. he came back with 2
the 2nd one looked even worse but again claimed it was packing grease.. I said okay against my own judgement.
Guess what.. it was rusty AF.. im going to see if Taurus will send me another one.. I can probably clean this one up but it's more than just a spot of rust and I shouldn't have to deal with that on a brand new gun.
I suspect vances just had these in stock for a very long time, I know taurus just came out with the improved tx2 gen2 so they're phasing out the gen1's (this)
