Description

It’s the first precision-guided 5.56 semi-automatic rifle. You’ll achieve perfect impact at extreme distances, even when targets are moving fast.

Perfect impact on targets out to 0.33 miles, moving as fast as 10 miles per hour.
The same Tag-and-Shoot™ technology found in fighter jets
Advanced target tracking technology
Comprehensive, purpose-built shooting system
Compatible with ShotGlass™ wearable digital shooting glasses. ShotGlass™ is free of charge with Precision-Guided Firearm purchase between October 1, 2014 and November 30, 2014.

FEATURES
Tag-and-Shoot™
Tag-and-Shoot is how a shooter actually uses a Precision-Guided Firearm. The shooter puts the reticle on the intended point of impact, presses the tag button, and then pulls the trigger when he has moved on to the designated point of impact. The Precision-Guided Firearm does the rest.

TriggerLink™
TriggerLink is an electronic connection between the tracking optic and the guided trigger. The tracking optic communicates with the guided trigger to ensure that the round is released at the precise moment required to make an extraordinary shot.

Permanent Zero
The shooter never again has to worry about whether his gun is properly zeroed. The Precision-Guided Firearm’s laser-based barrel reference system maintains a permanent, factory-set, perfect zero for every shot. It’s unaffected by shock, vibration, or other environmental factors.

Virtual Rest
Virtual Rest™ makes off-hand shots as easy as shooting from a stable rest. The Precision-Guided Firearm image is stabilized, so you can Tag-and-Shoot™ moving or stationery targets at extreme distances from an off-hand position.

Heads Up Display
HUD is the digital display that shows the field of view. The key user-interface between the shooter and the Precision-Guided Firearm, the HUD displays vital pieces of data including range-to-target, target velocity, shot angle, compass heading, gun cant, battery status, WiFi status, wind velocity and direction, kill zone size, ammunition type, temperature, barometric pressure, and time of day.

ShotView™
The ShotView app streams real-time video from the Precision-Guided Firearm to a ShotGlass™ wearable, smart phone, or tablet. It’s ideal for communication in hunting and target shooting applications. Friends, colleagues, or fellow soldiers can see what the shooter sees in his tracking optic.

Well... I guess since college degrees aren't paying the bills, its cheaper than a school loan. For 8k you too can be a professional assassin.

Yes Feds, these are jokes.

So as long as I can align the sights once and press the trigger to mark the target all I have to do is get it back on target a second time to make the shot? That's totally 2x better than taking the first shot! Sounds so good I'll take 2

Can this be shipped to Canada?

There are few things I hate more then clever Internet posters that so completely miss the point and then leave the comments open.

A. The free glasses allow you to shoot around corners, think lethal Google glass. Ex. Noone will yell at you in a restaurant lol

B. The rifle allows a blind guy to hit targets 600 yards out.

C. If your a good shot, and I'm a bad shot, this rifle gives me the edge. That's scary and the price is cheap if that's what it acomplishes. 10000 match rounds a 5000 scope and a barrett won't do the same thing at 3 times the price .

I think you miss the point. This is for rich elite and apparenlty, according to you, the blind. It's a fun toy for the super wealthy, so yeah us working folk make fun of it, get over your righteous self.

Someone who can't figure out how to use a standard optic is suddenly going to figure out how to rtfm on a robo-scope *and* use it effectively?

Is there a lot of demand for guns for blind guys?

And why doesn't the $2.99 A2-style grip at least have a storage-core for.. you know.. batteries? One would think a robo-sniper would want an extra battery, since they obviously can't hit anything with a standard scope or iron sights.. (if they could, they wouldn't be buying this)..

You guys completely miss the point, watch the video and price me out something remotely similar. If you can't take advantage of a tool like that then your just being stubborn .

And yeah, its so easy to use they had 1st time shooters (12 year old girl Google it) hitting 1000 yard targets with their first ever shot, how many hours/dollars does it take to train a marksman?

Ohh so it's made to train 12 year old girl marksman, gotcha, this site is for good deals, if this normally sold for 10k and this is new price, I guess that would be a good deal, this is blatant advertising, thus no deal at all. Has nothing to do with it's function, technology or usefulness. Did you notice they only offer software upgrades for 1 year? how much is it after that? still think it's a good deal?

Lol, wow. If a top-shelf ar-15 is $2500, perhaps another $1k for an acog & you'll still have $4k for ammo @ say $2 per bang for nice, custom-loaded, match-grade ammo, that's 2000 misses before this "foolproof" solution pays off..

and that's assuming you've got the grapes to admit that you're such a bad shot, that you can miss anything with match-ammo shot from an acog-equipped weapon.

But seriously.. a $2.99 A2 handgrip on a $7499 weapon?

I can only imagine what type of seizures Mom's Demand Action from Illegal Mayors have when they see something like this.
