EQUIPPED WITH ANSCHUTZ TARGET PRECISION BARREL WITH RECESSED TARGET CROWN AND ADJUSTABLE MATCH TRIGGER SYSTEM
ANSCHÜTZ target rifles are known worldwide for their accuracy, precise construction and unmatched shooting performance. The excellent characteristics that allowed ANSCHÜTZ sporting equipment to dominate national and international competitions such as the biathlon since 1856 can also be found in the new ANSCHÜTZ semi-automatic precision rifle in .22 long rifle. The MSR RX 22 is a joint development by three German companies: ANSCHÜTZ, GERMAN SPORT GUNS and ESC Ulm.
The MSR RX22 barrels are manufactured to the same exacting tolerances of Anschütz’ target barrels with a special button-rifling process. The barrel also features a recessed target crown. The single-stage trigger’s components are hardened and finely ground to produce a fast trigger with a very consistent release. The trigger can be adjusted from 3.3 to 5.5 lbs., and it is set at 4 lbs. by the factory.

I would recommend the ISSC MK22 over this- the threaded barrel is a big bonus

These are NOT built by Steyr.
Anschutz does build excellent rifles and .22lr pistols. However these ARE NOT built by Anschutz. These are a collaboration between Anschutz, GSG and ESC. And is actually built by GSG with Anschutz getting paid by German Sports Guns to use the Anschutz branding, barrel & trigger specs. Similar to (Beretta 92/22 is actually a Chiappa that is marked Beretta) and the (Colt 1911/22 is actually is actually a Umarex) etc, etc .
THIS IS the ISSC MK22!! with an Anschutz barrel and trigger group. which is why these are much more reliable (with a couple tweeks) and accurate than the ISSC version.
I bought one of these for my son a while back from CDNN. After trimming a few coils off the bolt carrier spring and adding a washer to the
firing pin return spring it took care of the light primer strikes, feeding issues and wound up being very reliable, and a ton of fun to shoot.

Steyr is only the importer on these. They have absolutely nothing to do with any aspect of this rifle.

Just got one in FDE. So far no issues, really fun, good quality gun! CDNN shipped really fast! UPDATE!!! 6-2016 Many many rounds down range and this gun performs flawlessly. Highly recommend, runs all std velocity ammo perfectly.

As an owner of this firearm and who has shot it thousands of times by me and others this is an exceptionaly fun 22LR to shoot with. Very Acurate 1 failure to feed within the first 20 rounds. Will cycle all the cheap ammo without fight. If you were like me and saw the ISSC complaints this is a very similar gun with the kinks worked out. Would buy again paid $325 after shipping. Have people always willing to trade there 10-22 for it.

Also own the Beretta ARX-160 another fun gun to shoot. If you are a lover of 22lr these both need to be in your closet.

Cheapest place for magazines for this rifle. ISSC MK22 uses the same magazines as the Anschutz RX22

Those other companies may not have bought from one of the distributors when they were being clearanced. I got the Anschutz branded magazines at that time for $25 OTD from a local FFL.
