The scope mounts to a RRR (Recoil Reducing Rail) specifically designed for high-powered air rifles to reduce recoil stress on the scope. The rail is constructed with 2 pieces of aluminum separated by dual polymer struts that absorb shockwaves, maintaining precise zero and prolonging the life of the scope. Gamo's Whisper Fusion noise dampening technology uses a double integrated sound moderator, making the Whisper Fusion Mach 1 ultra quiet to reduce the risk of spooking animals and increase your opportunities of hitting multiple pesky targets. The SWA™ (Shock Wave Absorber) recoil pad provides shooting comfort and helps reduce overall shock to the gun and sight. The Gamo Whisper Fusion Mach 1 is a serious air rifle for hunting small game, and pest control. The .177 caliber model shoots a PBA Platinum alloy pellet at scorching 1420 fps. The .22 caliber model shoots a heavier PBA pellet at 1020 fps.
