Description

Franklin Armory 5550 Binary Firing System BFS Trigger Gen 3 Metal Black Franklin Armory's revolutionary Binary Firing System (BFS) is ideal for three gun competitors, tactical shooters, and recreational enthusiasts. It features a three position selector - Mode 1 for Safe, Mode 2 for traditional semi-automatic Mode, or Mode 3 for Binary Mode. In Binary Mode, the firearm will discharge one round with every function of the trigger, whether a pull or a release. A user can negate the round that would otherwise be fired during the release function by moving the selector back to Mode 2 and then safely releasing the trigger. Franklin Armory's BFS is easy to install with no custom fitting. The BFS Gen 3 offers a trigger pull of 4.5 lbs. (+/- 0.5 pound), the release phase now has a positive reset, and an updated design eliminates backup disconnector. The stronger buffer spring (included) reduces the possibility of hammer follow. It works in Franklin Armory's F17 series in .17 WSM without modification. It works on .22LR and 9mm uppers without modification. The BFS works in every AR application: AR10, AR15, MPX, etc.

Gunprime advertises this trigger for $249 but the checkout says $279. I have noticed this on several advertisements. It would be nice to honor the prices advertised.

I highly recommend this trigger..1)binary mode is so much fun,you can emulate burst fire or emulate fully automatic.follow up shots are amazing..after a couple mag dumps I had the police show up at my house because neighbors thought I was out there firing a machine gun.2)even when it is set to semi automatic it is much better than a mil-spec trigger.it is comparable to a Timney Impact,Rise Armament LE-145 and a TriggerTech Duty 3.5 in performance but unlike those triggers,it isn’t a drop-in trigger and is more reliable and more durable(the drop-in triggers I mentioned are all great triggers in their own right and are great options as a budget friendly replacement to a mil-spec trigger)3)this is the best price I’ve seen on this trigger in a while.it normally sells for around $350,I bought mine on sale from PSA for $350 but it included 8 gen 2 30rd Pmags(or 10 Pmags if you got the curved trigger instead of the flat trigger)..I wasn’t too sure about spending nearly $400 on a trigger after tax+shipping but after installing it and using it a little,I am glad I did.I now plan on buying another one for a pistol build
