FEATURES
Once upon a time, a revolutionary concept emerged - the "dissipator" AR. It involved taking a 20" rifle-length gas system upper and carefully cutting the barrel down to 16". This clever modification allowed shooters to benefit from the long sight radius of a rifle, enhancing accuracy, while enjoying the maneuverability of a carbine with the shorter barrel.
However, this setup had its challenges. The proximity of the gas port to the muzzle led to timing issues and made reliability unpredictable. Nevertheless, thanks to remarkable advancements in AR technology, reliable carbine and mid-length gas systems have been developed. These systems can be discreetly concealed using low-profile gas blocks. This breakthrough allowed for a front sight base to be pinned in the rifle position, maintaining the longer sight radius without compromising the functionality due to an unorthodox gas port location.
To distinguish our creation from a cut-down rifle length version, we affectionately refer to it as the "mock" dissipator. This way, shooters can confidently experience the best of both worlds, achieving superior accuracy and maneuverability without compromising on reliability.
