One of these or a heritage rough rider?

I love the heritage in the medium sized barrel. i think its like 5 inches or something. but i hear the 16 inches are funner. anyway mine is accurate and a great plinking gun. but i suppose they are roughly the same price right about now.

It would depend on what you are looking for. Both offer a variety of unique color and grip options. The Ruger has a transfer bar that allows you to rotate the cylinder without manipulating the hammer. The cylinder rotates smoothly as well. The Heritage rough rider is more traditional and requires you to half-cock the hammer in order to rotate the cylinder when loading or ejecting and has a very distinctive notched rotation of the cylinder. Ruger Wranglers don't come set up to interchange the cylinder for 22WMR while Heritage Rough Riders have this as a standard feature. The Ruger Wrangler is also a 6 shot revolver while Heritage offers both 6 and 9 shot options. My experience with either is pretty limited. I've only owned a Heritage Rough Rider for a few days now and haven't even taken it to the range yet. I didn't know most of these differences between the two revolvers before purchasing, but I think I made the right choice based on the info I know now. More options at a (slightly) lower cost. As for the reliability of either, i couldn't tell ya.
