Reputable companies don't charge you until they ship. You guys are just floating him a free loan. Even if you end up cancelling, he's getting you to wait at least a month so he gets to use your money free for a month or more.
It would look less suspicious if someone other than the dealer himself had posted this deal and if there were people vouching for a quicker turn-around time before this debacle of "weather, holidays and increased demand".
Here's how a ponzi scheme works: offer something too good to be true and collect some money. As you get some money built up you pay out to a few of the early adopters so they start hyping your deal and draw in more people who give you more money. Repeat, but always keep outflow WAY behind inflow.

If everyone who ordered cancelled their orders, do you guys really think you'd get your money back in two days?

To the vendor: if this isn't you and you're an honest seller here's the lesson - when you post a good deal on a national deal site you'd better be ready for the response. If you're not, don't take orders beyond what you can deliver. When you've delivered, then take more orders. ALWAYS communicate with your customers beyond what is reasonable if there is even the slightest indication that you're in the wrong.

While I appreciate your concern, your statement is patently false, we are not being floated by anyone. We are well financed and working hard to increase production to meet the increased demand. We are in the process of increasing machinery, and employees, and adding shifts. Instead of making unsubstantiated claims, I would ask that you would perhaps first do some research. We have been complemented all over the web for the performance and value of our product. The delay you question, started in November and we are working through it as fast as we can. If you choose not to buy until we are caught up, I completely understand, that is up to you. But to make unfounded accusations serves to do nothing but defame our company with no substantiation whatsoever. Since the end of November, we have been faced with 4 snowstorms, an ice storm, and 3 holiday weeks. That’s a killer for us here in the Ozarks as the second snow met the average seasonal snowfall year to year. We have only been able to run about %50 of the time in the last 6 weeks. In addition, because we are training new employees, it takes time to ramp up additional production. Based on our current production schedule, we should be completely caught up by the end of January.

I’m sorry if seems argumentative, but I believe your post begs the question, are you just a random concerned citizen looking out for the best interest of your fellow man, or are you another company trying to justify your unreasonably high price for 300blk ammo? I invite anyone to investigate our company further to determine the value and performance of our product. Are we behind, yes, do we have everything is stock to produce and deliver all of the product we have sold, ABSOLUTELY. As I have stated before, part of the delay is that we hand inspect every round for size, weight, and ascetics. I would not produce a round that is sub-standard in any of these categories. There are plenty who would. I will not.

My name is Tom Dowell, I am the owner of Ozark Ordnance L.L.C., We have 11 full time employees and we are located in Neosho, Missouri. All of this is verifiable through BATFE as well as the State of Missouri. I invite anyone who wishes to, to come and tour our facility and see what we are doing. If you sir, are so compelled to make these statements, I would ask that you at least provide your name and contact info. I have done so, I have nothing to hide, the ball is now in your court.

I totally agree with everything in this post. And I'm sorry - it is very hard to believe that it takes 4 weeks to just ship orders if the products are in stock regardless of weather. It looks more like orders are taken for items not made yet. Those are called pre-orders and you should not charge for those until items are ready to ship.

Last Friday I ordered (different brand) 300 BLK ammo from another dealer that shipped it within 24 hours and when stock goes to zero they pull the item off the website instead of continuing to take orders. I received the ammo on Wednesday. (Shot it all on Thursday LOL).

And how much did they charge you a dollar a round? 90 cents? Mine was 60 cents shipped and it showed up today. I ordered before the coupon for 50 off was available and he took the discount off my order, so far it all looks to be of quality and imho was well worth the wait

Still no call or email back from Tom. I'm filing a chargeback in the morning.
Horrible customer service. I don't care how
Busy you claim to be. He came on here stating he would contact us back and yet he doesn't.
What a shame I would love to buy a ton of his ammo. But this is unacceptable and beyond unprofessional.

I placed an order back on December 4th, 2013 for 500 rounds. I have called the number in my confirmation email several times and sent a couple emails asking for status and I have not heard back yet. If you could please let me know the status of my order, that would be great.

If you placed your order on the 4th, it was scheduled to ship today, however, due to weather, nothing went out. Therefore it will ship tomorrow. We are currently working through the backlog of phone calls and e-mails and should be caught up by tomorrow. You should receive updated info then.

Why do they list 20 in stock but then there is a 4 week shipping time? I find this practice dishonest. It tells me that it is not in stock but needs to be made and will be shipped when it has been manufactured. I wish companies would just come out and say like it is.

We normally run about 5 - 10 days on shipping our products, however, since thanksgiving, we have seen a 10 fold increase in demand, during that time, we have had 4 large snow storms and one ice storm. This, in an area where one to two measurable snows per year is about the average. In addition, the holidays fell in the middle of the week causing us to loose a total of 7 days of manufacturing and shipping time. THIS is why we are currently running 4 weeks on shipping. If this is a concern for you, I would be happy to refund your money and cancel your order. If you wish to keep your order, it will ship approximately 3 - 4 weeks after it was placed, Thanks.

I ordered ammo on 12-2-13 and I got a confirmation email last week and will be receiving ammo tomorrow according to the shipping tracker. It does say online they are running behind on their website.

No chargeback is necessary, as stated on the website in several places, we are running 3-4 weeks on shipping. If you would like a refund, simply call 877-782-1409 and if no one answers leave your name, an order number and request a refund, one will be processed within 2 business days.

Website says shipping is 3-4 weeks in about 10 different places, in addition, its stated right here in this posting. If you would like a refund, simply call 877-782-1409 and leave your name, your order number and a request for a refund and it will be processed within 2 business days. Please not as stated above, our shipping issues have heel largely out of our control due to weather conditions and heavy volume. Items purchased on Dec 7th will ship on or about the 7 - 9 of January. They were originally scheduled to ship on the 2nd however weather has been a huge issue for us.

It sure does and we are going into the 6th week!! When are you going to get around to giving an update? Just return a phone call or an email. Why should a Customer have to keep begging to hear from you? I didn't bother to contact you until AFTER the 4th week

I understand the weather delays etc. But that's no excuse for not replying to emails- and I've sent several. If anything that's the perfect time to get caught up on communications. Also your phone number doesn't work. It won't accept messages any more. Also I left a message on your cell phone and you didn't return message. I don't mind the wait AS LONG AS YOU COMMUNICATE. I own 2 companies and deal with thousands of customers. Just take 10 mins and send out a mass email to everyone waiting and let us know.
We don't know you from Adam and the world is full of scammers. I feel like we have all did our due dillgance in trying to reach you. Just a simple email would be the way to keep this from happening.

Gonna keep this short...HELL OF A HOT ROUND CYCLED THROUGH LIKE A DREAM CAN'T WAIT TO BUY SOME WELL WORTH THE WAIT!
