Those M5E1 sets have been back ordered much longer than estimated, I do apologize for that. The availability to back order a product and estimated wait times are there as a convenience to customers, as many people request it. I am trying to be as accurate as I can be in regard to estimates. The estimated wait times are based off past order timeframes and current estimates from my reps.
Apparently the M5 handguards had to get sent back to anodizing, so that is the hold up on the M5E1 sets. I will go in and adjust the estimates on the website for those to better reflect the current status. I'm always happy to cancel/refund you if the back order is too long.
Thanks for following up. Did Aero give a timeframe for when they expect the M5E1 to ship?
sometimes the manufacturers (aero) are the ones lying. the distributor may only be passing on the lie, unknowingly. however, if GR is backordered since january, no way is the current lead still 2-3 weeks. more like 6 months.
In for one, I don't have any Aero parts so I figured this would be a start and it seems like a deal and FREE shipping. Wanted the 15" but all they have left is the 12".
Thanks for the purchase! I have the other lengths (7", 9", 15") on order right now. Hopefully they will be coming in within the next few weeks.
Hey GRO, will these be back in stock soon? Or are they just shipping from the B.O. list, so orders are being filled in the order they're received?
I ordered an ME5 combo in January from Granite Ridge and still haven't received anything. It's almost April. I wouldn't imagine it's their fault for not getting the product from Aero but don't believe the "2-3 week back order" statement on their webpage. To be fair, when I have emailed them asking about the status they responded promptly. But it's still not cool to advertise a timeline knowing that it's not realistic.
