Poor quality ammo from an even crappier store. SG, sign up now (for an absurd amount) and we'll never intend to ship you anything! Surprise, you're now a member!

Overpriced inferior quality rubbish. 4 cent a round delivered would be a deal. SG is a bad retailer too. Put five of the 525 pack golden bullets in my cart December total price was 104.68 great deal except they never sent them and finally cancelled them about 2 weeks ago. They pull shit like that all the time. I will not renew my membership . I'm done with the assclowns at sportsman's guide. They can go fist themselves.

If these were 5 cents a round I might CONSIDER buying these to try out but I'll stick to my CCI mini mags I can get on a daily basis for $7.99 instead.

Anything from Sportsman Guide, Botach Tactical, and Arsenal (regarding $1300 AK's) are fair game aren't they ;)

SHIPPING? buuford what do you mean that shipping kills it for you, It is **FREE SHIPPING** using the coupon.

3 votes
1 vote

probably because if you use the discout code you have to pay shipping. there is also a code for free shipping, but then you cant use the discount code. Its about $30 more without the discount code.
Do the math.

CCI Mini Mags are all over the place at .08 cents to .08 half cents a round shipped. and F.P.S are 1200,1235,1260 higher than these 1150 F.P.S

I was shocked to see a couple dozen boxes of Mini-Mags on the shelf at Gander Mtn the other day. That was literally the first time I saw it in years. $8 + tax, 100 rounds. They want us to pay more for this?

"Serious punch for just pennies per round!" and by pennies they mean a dime. This isn't a good deal at all for no-name imported ammunition.

If its not a good deal then why did all the 100 round packs sell out that were on here for $9.99 earlier? Pretty much the same cost.

This is what we can expect from now on....

Might as well get 4 and make it a 4-pay deal...

10 cents per round is one thing if we're talking about CCI ammo, which is readily available here on this site at that price. This is literally just some random no-name ammo for premium ammo price. If you're that desperate for 22 ammo then more power to you. I'm not.

You will be soon enough. its one of the few readily available 500 round bricks of ammo.

Im sure its shoots well enough.

How is this gouging this is higher priced ammo always, brownells has it for 60 bucks, it might not shoot better than the Winchester idk but it's supposed to, if your out of ammo considering everywhere in stock is about 10cpr for cheaper quality it's worth giving it a shot(pun intended)

The price may not be spectacular but its currently the best deal for this particular ammo, it works out to 10 cents a round with the free shipping.

Haven't seen 22LR in my area in several years so buying online is my only option. This is the second time I've bought 22LR from SG both had free s/h and were the best deals online in the last few weeks. No problem with SG's service, have always received my orders within a week from ordering.

When you get your order, could you please pull a bullet and measure the copper plate thithickness? I'm curious if it's actually plated and not "copper washed". Thanks

I pulled one of mine and they are actually copper plated. They are also steel tipped "penetrator" rounds. Check out my youtube video of them.

These are "copper washed" but all 22 are that have a copper colored projectile are "copper washed" anyway, including CCI even brands that say "copper plated" are really copper washed. There may be a difference in some brands compared to others as some "copper wash" coatings may be thicker than others.

Well, if it's thick enough to be continuous then I'd call that plated. Some of the copper washed stuff looks like it was rubbed on with a piece of paper.

I just received them today, they don't look any different than the CCI I have or the Remington Golden bullet 22LR (other than the projectile is gold in color instead of copper). I have some Winchester Super X (in the silver box), I didn't compare those but they are packed similarly to the Super X in regards to packaging. They also look the same as the Federal 550 round value packs as well. All of the other 22 I have are lead round nose (without copper coating).

Under the flap of the larger box that the 50 round boxes are in does have the date of manufacturer which is showing they were manufactured on Feb 10th 2015 so they were made very recently, just over a month ago. Box looks exactly like whats pictured. These have gotten good reviews from customers on several sites that are offering these, however, SG has the best price because of the free shipping, other sites may be offering them for a few dollars cheaper or the same price but the shipping is astronomical and doesn't make them worth buying if you're going to pay $10-$15 in shipping.

What a joke!
And, you get to pay $30 a year to join this fakakta club.!
They tried to get me to re-join.
I told them I was tired of them taking advantage me.!
Notice how they have pages of low cost 22, but they never have any in stock?

Please tell me what is so special about this ammo to justified the price on 22lr
is it " Non-corrosive " or "Brass cased".?..... hehhe.he.

The problem with SG is you can only use one discount and the free shipping discount is better than the 10% in this case but even if you could use both this would still be overpriced .22 ammo.
