Machined entirely from billet 7075-T6 aluminum and coated in Type III Hard Coat Anodize. The UCH features a more robust roll pin interface for added strength and durability and comes with a full lifetime warranty. The UCH features a Generation 3 Locking Latch which has a relocated roll pin hole and an oversized coil roll pin for strength and dependability, striations wrap the front and outside edge of the locking latch increasing the accessibility of the locking latch, and the hook portion of the locking latch has been rounded to reduce wear and tear on the upper receiver. The UCH is designed in a way that the locking latch, when fully engaged, interfaces with the body of the charging handle causing the operator to pull the charging handle straight back further reducing side load on the charging handle and friction between the charging handle and the upper receiver.
