Seeing some of the more recent vids on YouTube, I notice the models on the thumbnails don't have those covers, but do still have the muzzle device. Looks like YMMV.

Drill tap blue locktite button heads or recessed nut epoxied in polymer and grade 12.9 button heads blue loctite. My guess polymer wont hold roll pins tight and the steel bars are too thin to hold it tight Looks like decent gun i wouldnt wait on Turkiye for a solution. Nor would those roll pins stop myself from purchase. Irritating yes dealbreaker no. Honestly with the thin bars and needing to drift those pins every time a threaded fastener will be better. That high grade Turkish steel in the thin bars will wallow. You said trigger is good- thats half the battle with bull pup. Mush. I hate mush. Myself I would probably pick this up before a 88. Playing devils advocate a system where the forearm that actuates the action has to be detached every time you field strip is not going to add to robustness regardless of the fasteners. That attachment point takes a lot of stress and would best be permanently attached for optimum robustness. The design looks like it would be particularly useful where a free hand is needed for instance opening doors. Eyeballing it looks lioke the weight would be balanced when using one hand while doing another task. If i had any room in the safe i would bite and start to think about what i would do about the forearm attachment. Honestly it looks like those roll pins have to drift out a LONG way before the forearm is not attached. Just a note using punches designed for roll pins usually helps them stay where they should be more than smacking them with a rock.

Three months ago I had a similar idea in mind for the roll pins. I'm certain I can find a simple solution so I ordered mine today. Also, KickPuncher is right about the thumbnails. Some clearly show a different mag tube and muzzle attachment as well as missing the roll pins or a cover over the pins. Pot Luck expected but not worried since I will be picking it up at KYGC.

Update: So I finally got around to picking mine up and taking it out to the range yesterday. It shot and cycled through 100 rounds of high and low brass without an issue. Hatsan did come up with a fix for the roll pin issue by adding small rails on each side of the action bar with a plastic cover over the rails. The plastic cover is held in place by a small ball bearing that is socketed in the rail. Very happy with the purchase.

When this shotgun first released, most retailers were using the incorrect picture of the model released in the US (such as this one). The barrel and mag tube did not extend past the front of the gun. It was completely flush just like the KS7 from Kel-Tec.

For those still interested in this model, it appears the manufacturer updated the shotgun and it now has covers on both sides of the forend which hold the pins in place. Also, a muzzle device was added. You can go to this link to see images of the updated model:

Only thing now to wonder is if these retailers still have older stock 12 gauge models in their inventory.

Thanks for the review. I was very tempted to grab this as well. I'll wait until the roll pin issue is resolved then.

Thanks for pointing out the roll pin issue. Hopefully Hatsan comes up with a solution like an anti-walk pin or similar.
