Through creative engineering and a quest for uncompromising performance, the revolutionary SCR® Pistol is in a class of its own and successfully bridges the capability gap between a common handgun and an individual battle carbine.
Featuring direct-gas operation, a rotating bolt and a free floated barrel for optimal accuracy; the semi-automatic Raider™ blends its diminutive size and portability with the reliability, ruggedness and weatherproof characteristics of America’s longest serving military rifle. Lightweight, powerful and accurate, the SCR® Pistol is available in both 5.56x45mm NATO or .300 AAC Blackout (300 BLK) that delivers overmatch performance against common pistol-caliber handguns and shotguns at extended shooting distances.
Manufactured of high strength aerospace alloys and finished with non-reflective, MIL-Spec coatings for maximum corrosion resistance, the SCR® Pistol is designed to perform under the most demanding field conditions including ice, sleet, sand, rain and mud. Suppressor capable and ready, SCR® Pistol barrels are gas-ferritic nitrocarburized (Nitrided) from the factory for maximum accuracy and wear resistance and are threaded ½-28 TPI on 5.56 NATO barrels and 5/8-24 TPI on .300 BLK barrels to readily accept the most common suppressor mounts, flash hiders, muzzle brakes and other devices.
Accessory friendly, SCR® Pistol are equipped with a 12” inch long MIL-STD 1913 top rail that’s fully compatible with most modern optics and accessories and is available with a handguard option that supports either KeyMod or Magpul®  M-Lok®  accessory mounts.

Sporting Rifle parts and accessories including magazines, upper receivers, barrels, bolts, optics and more which significantly reduces a user’s logistical requirements for spare parts, accessories and ammunition.

Gen 2 should be a revolver.

Check out the youtube videos of it jamming constantly. Wished it worked better because I would own one if it did.

If I ever become a space pirate this is going to be my EDC gun.

If you have never shot one of these, you really should. I have shot it in .300 blk and it was a lot of fun. Not super tactical or even useful but it’s the smallest pistol that fires a rifle cartridge I’ve ever had the pleasure of firing and it worked well. Didn’t feel like the “wrist breaker” people think it is when they see it.
I am guessing they made their SCR rifle stock and buffer system first to make a lower that was compatible with AR uppers that might one day be ban state compliant and then realized it would fit inside a shockwave style grip and this was the result. Idk if that was really the process but I’m glad they came up with something so unique.

Completely agree. Though it’s not incredibly functional compared to an AR pistol with a brace, it’s still better than nothing...

This gun is the answer to the question no one asked.

it's out there but I cant say I hate it. wondering if its not a middle finger towards certain state laws.

I can't help laughing at "free floated barrel for optimal accuracy". That makes all the difference between 20 inch groups and 19.5 inch groups with this format.

Shades of the Obrez.....probably as effective too.
