The FM15-223-G2-16I-2ZA is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in .223 Wylde, chambering, and firing both .223 Remington and 5.56 Nato flawlessly. At first glance, it may appear to be an AR- Type rifle, but that is simply not the case. With it’s unique internally captive recoil system, it can fire with a folded, or an extended butt stock, unlike an AR15. This allows you to shoot from a compressed position or a deployed position.The rifle is unique in the marketplace due to its many high-end features that simply cannot be found elsewhere at anywhere close to this price point. This stunning rifle features a patented 4-position non-reciprocating front charging handle, a one-piece aluminum charging trolley, a nestled recoil spring assembly, a low-mass bolt carrier, and an intermediate (between mid-length and rifle length) length gas system with an interlocking gas key that helps reduce the points-of-failure that are often found in traditional AR-platform rifles. The rifle also incorporates a proprietary patent-pending integrated recoil system.This rifle is built with a Gen 2 billet aluminum monolithic-style upper receiver and premium billet lower receiver serving as its foundation. It also utilizes a match grade 41V50 16" steel barrel with 1:8 twist that is surrounded by a beautiful 15" M-LOK handguard. It features a USGI Mil-spec trigger and comes complete with (1) 30 round magazine, full-length top Picatinny rail, and (3) M-LOK forend attachments for improved grip. The rifle is completed with a full set of Magpul furniture featuring a Magpul Zhukov stock and Magpul MOE pistol grip. Yes, this stock is not only telescopic but it also folds to the right if so desired for more compact carry or storage. Other features include a QD sling socket built into the left side of the Zhukov stock adapter, optimally placed for a chest carry of the rifle, as well as a Zhukov stock mounted QD point as well. The tactile feedback of the stock entering the folded position lets you know that it is now in the closed position, while the strong locking points keep it securely folded, ready to be deployed with a quick flip of the wrist. It also features an A2 flash hider, a firing pin spring, and an ambidextrous safety selector. The rifle is completed with a type III hard black anodized finish.
