Product Description
With a barrel length of just 2.7 inches, Kimber Solo Carry pistols are easy to carry and conceal. Many of the features borrowed from 1911 pistols also make them exceptionally safe. A manual ambidextrous thumb safety, checkered slide release and ambidextrous magazine release button enable fast and intuitive operation. Then there is the single action striker-fired trigger pull–even and smooth.
Kimber Solo frames are machined from the finest aluminum and finished in KimPro II, a premium finish that is self-lubricating and extremely resistant to salt and moisture. Slides and barrels are cut from stainless steel. Edges are rounded and blended, slide serrations are deep enough to really work and the dovetail-mounted 3-dot sights are quick to target.

I believe the Kimber Solo might be the most non functional 9mm gun created. Good luck.

Kimber - for when you're just dying to pay a premium for something that doesn't work.

Old stock? Would love to know date of production.
Can't see Kimber making new ones, big setback for the company first time around.

Yep, I would bet NOS...hard to find anywhere except used at auction houses. I would like to see a sub $500 deal......

Wow: Undeserved negativity!! Too bad. I do have the Sig P238, 938's, 230, 232's, 290, 250, appropriately sized Kahr's, S&W's Shield and BodyGuard, Taurus Curve & T738, the new model Ruger LC9-CT, Remington's R51 (balsy purchase), Glock's G42 & G43 all alongside my Solo. IMHO the top 4, in order of desirability, include the Glock G43, R51, Solo, P232. The Solo's steel frame absorbs much of the 9mm report but my large hands really have issues with the very small grip area. The new Glock G43 and the R51 and P290 "feel" much better in my hand than the others, including the Solo. Just MHO. BTW: A little patience and polishing of the feed ramp on the Solo eliminated all issues in using the bad-boy Gold Dot +P ammo in the Solo. BUT: It did
zero for the baby grips and handling.

Kimber must be sitting on mountains of these. Anyone with access to internet and enough common sense would know to stay away from these. The only ones to buy these would be either collectors or people with a fat wallet. IMO the best quality built, fit and finish out of the latest small 9mm trend pistols is a XDS, then Sig followed by shield. I wouldnt even consider Keltec as a back up.

What was the original street price? Thanks!

I use a Kahr , an xds, and a 26, they all work great, it took me 41 years to get 3 pocket pistols that work, well really 2, the 26 is a bit large.

kahr cm9, pm9. both work excellent. sig 938 works good too. This is far to pricey to gamble IMO. I've bought quite more than a few turd pistols. can not recommend the pf9. my sample was crap.

I have went through 3 of these trying to find one that meets my needs. all 3 suck. They all fail in some way, none can seem to make it through a hundred rounds without messing up. I found a springfield xds on her for 480 shipped, much better gun. The shield is imo almost as good, you can get those for 350. Kimber sucks.

Overpriced I will take the shield or a pf9 or a g26 before this

With night sights included I would begin to consider VS a Shield. Otherwise my rusting LC9 with all that trigger work is still 1/2 price. I can always cera-kote the slide...

And +1 capacity with the mag extension from Galloway Precision!

Too much money. Buy a Sig 938, or wait a month and buy an XDS. Or a nano, or a pf-9, or any of the dozen other guns that are cheaper and better made than this POS.

Looks closer to Kahr than anything else.
