This LMT rifle is a one-of-a-kind AR-15 featuring a patented MRP or Monolithic Rail Platform upper receiver that combines the handguard and upper receiver into a single component. CNC machined from a single piece of aerospace-grade aluminum; the LMT MARS provides unmatched functionality. The proprietary LMT locking system of the barrel is the key to this unique modular AR15, using two locking bolts on the right side of the receiver to hold the barrel in place. This unique configuration and integration of the upper receiver and an MRP barrel from LMT create a simple modular platform that allows barrel swaps and caliber changes in only a few minutes with a simple T-30 Torx bit and a torque wrench.
