There was a time when high-volume shooters bought steel-cased cartridges to save money, only to discover that lacquer coating on the cases gummed up chambers. Youâll have no such worries with this ammunition. MFS uses a special zinc plating on its cartridge cases that wonât impede the performance of your firearm or foul the chamber. Per 20.

Why can't 308 be this reasonable in price? I get the concept of supply and demand, but come on as material wise, both are similar if not less for 308
Just order another batch of these. Performs as well or better than military surplus stuff but it is way more cleaner. I used it with VEPR 23, 27.5 inch barrel, Mosin-Nagant M39 and M91/30. Works well in all 4 rifles. Accuracy was surprisingly good.
I thought for sure I would be able to find a way to not let the Vepr destroy my precious brass cases... haven't bought factory centerfire ammo in a long time.. well, here I am. Good price.
This stuff is great in my SVT-40. No issues to speak of on the 1.3 gas setting. Nice I don't have to break down the gas system after shooting the non-corrosive ammo like I would if I shot surplus.
This stuff is just OK, not great. As mentioned below, it is all kinds of rough - burrs, cheap finish. It is almost as if it were manufactured by an enemy... ;)
While milsurp 54r may be corrosive (primered), it has Much better finish and quality. Plus, corrosive primers are able to withstand looooong shelf lives...
Should shoot fine, but I opened up a box, and this stuff is all sorts of dirty and the rims are all burred up and primers out of center. Not worried that it wont shoot, just saying. Lot is from 2013. Good deal otherwise if you don't reload.
Thanks for the reviews, I ordered some too.
Wish 308 has deal like this. As of now that surplus 54r is about .25 and up, this new production non corrosive zinc plate for .35 shipped is a good deal. If I don't have a stock pile of surplus, I would jump on it in a heart beat.
worst ammo performance ever in .223. eight dead primers in a lot of 400 rounds from this manufacturer, shot through a brand new bravo upper. maybe this caliber is different.
