Made with UHMWPE fabrics and pressed with a proprietary technique to create lighter plate , tested in accordance with Level IIIA Standard 0101.06.
Rated at Level IIIA protection, capable of stopping 9mm and .44 Mag rounds up to 1,400 FPS. No rifle ammunition protection.
Curved design fits the user with greater comfort and the angle cut upper corners (Shooter's Cut) allow for better mobility.
Durable Polyurea sprayed on outer coating protects and fully seals the UHMWPE plate for: Corrosion Protection, Structural enhancement, Waterproof, Abrasion Resistance, and for a nice Cosmetic appearance.

SchwellerAmmo you are incorrect. The BUDC1114 will defeat .22LR. These ballistics panels are rated level IIIA and are capable of stopping calibers up to .44 Mag at 1,400fps. Level IIIA is NOT rated for rifle protection. Our ballistics panels are tested to and meet all NIJ certifications. The only time I have ever seen our panels defeated is when they were not tested properly according to NIJ standards. We sell our body armor to law enforcement agencies nationwide who can attest to the validity of our armor.
Ive seen your products fail under mediocre circumstances. Your customer support is poop and the quality of products matches. NcStar doesn't deliver quality products just cheap stuff. I saw an ak optic mount fall off a gun when tighetened down. Avoid them.
Sadly you are not correct. These are Made in the USA and are currently warn by a large % of the Los Angeles First Responders. Also note that these are NIJ Tested to meat the following standards.

These plates are not NIJ certified. If the plates went through the NIJ Compliance Testing Program, performed by NIJ, (as you seem to be claiming) they must have failed. You say they are made in the USA. Please name the USA manufacturer and/or distributor.

These have been TESTED NOT CERTIFIED. Two completely different things.

The plates are NOT made by NcSTAR they are made for them. The Manufacturer that makes them for NcSTAR also makes them for several other LARGE players in the market. They are made here in Southern California.
Yes, most of their products are made in China. This are Made in the USA.
