Got mine in a few days ago. It looks fantastic with the red furniture(laminate wood). So far I have tried magpul, us palm (steel tabs), Croation steel mags, as well as the included pro mag, which fits a little loose. I have yet to get to the range with it as it is cold here in the Ukraine and suitable targets have been reduced significantly. Will update as needed. One good thing bakelite magazines are free here. They can be found laying all over the place usually next to dead russian soldiers.

This is absolute garbage. In this price range, a PSA AK is a much better value.

My wife's relatives from Ukraine just came here a week ago running from the war (girls only). I promised them to get an AK to show how to use it.
This seems like a good deal and most reviews recently are good, I really like that classic look.
Would it be better than PSA MOEKOV plastic folding stock BLEM cond they have for $669? After taxes price is the same for me.

Damn, I just bought two other firearms this past week but this one's got me considering another...may spar a divorce but hey least I've got my guns, right? Hahaha. This is one of the best AK deals I've seen in awhile. But this or hold out until the Ukraine crisis ends and the government starts collecting all the free AK's they handed out to anyone willing to use them. I suspect they will be selling them to the US by the freighter full. I believe we will be able to buy an influx of slightly used, Romanian made (WASR), polish made (Random/Pioneer arms) possibly Serbian made (Zastava), Bulgarian made ( Arsenal) AK's and other firearms fairly cheap compared to the past 20 years. We will see. Just my opinion and your certainly entitled to your own opinion and I will respect that, Just ask for you to do the same.

Got the Teak version (non laminate) for few bucks more. Really enjoy it. Very solid AK. Can’t really beat it the price w real wood finish

Based on most reviews, seems to be a solid performing US-made AKM. Barrel is listed as Nitrided, not chrome-lined, but both offer great corrosion protection. If I wanted an AK that was available at under $800 right now, this would be a better option IMHO than the PSA GF3. FYI, Riley offers a 2-year warranty vs PSA’s lifetime warranty.
