Bought this for like $407 on Oct 11 2023. Now, three days later it's up to like 490

Rock Island Armory has a long history and a good reputation for making quality, reliable firearms at a reasonable price. These pistols shoot as good or better than alot of pistols costing alot more. Is it as pretty and shiny as a stainless Colt or Kimber? No, but it will perform as l it was designed to do. And it will perform very welll

Its not in the neighborhood quality wise. You get what you pay for. That said....Are you just looking for a cool 1911 to take shooting and show your friends? This will probably do just that. Rock Island guns are budget guns but shoot great for the money.

Just bought the same one from buds 2 days ago. Paid 465 shipped so it'll come to 415. Went to buy this again just now since it was so cheap but it wouldn't let me check out. Then it stated it was out of stock. I can gauruntee this was a price mess up and now it's "out of stock"...

Damn fine gun, and great if you factor in the price. Wish I wasn't saving for other things and I'd splurge. Had one traded it, but miss it. Ah well.

I think I paid 350 for mine, with rubber grips and considered that a decent deal. this with fiber optic and VZ grips is definitely better

how good it is compare to S&W 1911, or Sig 1911, and how far away is it from Colt/KIMBER quality wise? price wise I get the difference.
