Dear Wildebuilt,
On 12/19/2015 your posting shows a Ruger with a 30 round mag. Since you are emphasizing the California connection in your post, maybe you should show the image of a CA compliant gun. You describe a 10 round capacity mag in the specs but it it's a 30 in the image. What are the capacities of the 3 Troy mags that you're offering with the gun? I would hope they are 10 or 5 round mags but it isn't stated.
Just thinking out loud here. No offense meant.

You should probably refrain from thinking out loud if you're too dense to understand that 10/30's exist. Get off the internet.

Whoa man, perhaps he/she didn't know about 10/30s. It's a legitimate question, and they even went to the lengths of a disclaimer as to NOT want to sound uneducated or offensive. YOU are the problem with the gun community -- aggro, mouthy know-it-alls who get off on harassing novice gun owners/buyers because it makes you feel better about yourself. Suck a fucking dick, asshole.

It's not a legitimate question. It's stated it comes with 10 round pmags. The poster apparently can't even read since they stated "troy mags."
You can't talk out of your ass in a condescending tone "Since you are emphasizing the California connection in your post, maybe you should show the image of a CA compliant gun." and expect not be shit on for being an idiot.

$1226 plus the cost of having them install a bullet button.

Yea, that is old stock Im assuming. Current wholesale price is several hundred over that now. We are just posting what we have access to right now for a price we can afford to sell it at. We are forced to send these rifles to a shop in Arizona first, and then into our CA store. Its not as easy as it sounds. CA law requires the work to be done before it hits CA. We are a small brick and mortar shop. The bigger online dealers sell guns for $50 above cost, and get bulk wholesale pricing. Does Tombstone do bullet buttons? If so, you are 100% right, that's a deal!!! My apologies for not doing any research on other options. I simply looked through the CA section, not the other ads for the free states.

They state on their website they ship to all 50 states and will modify as necessary. A bullet button can be bought all over the web for $15 and only takes a couple minutes to install. It requires no modifications and/or gunsmithing. I don't know the exact costs, but I would be surprised if it adds more than $50 to the cost of the rifle. They charge 3% for credit cards but have free shipping and since they are located in Phoneix, AZ. CA buyers will have those costs pretty much negated because of not having to pay sales tax.

If you look at the top of most, if not all pages on gun.deals it states "Best deals on guns and ammo posted by users. As a user, when I see a deal posted that can be had for several hundreds of dollars in savings elsewhere I will tend to point it out.

I understand being a small operation and not having the buying power of larger companies as I have a small computer company and have been facing the same issue for 30 years.

Everyone understands this, so although it may be an acceptable explanation...it is not an acceptable excuse for posting a much higher price on a website that is meant to be for posting the best deals available. If I wanted to see higher or even run of the mill pricing I would browse online catalogs. Like most everyone, I come here to find deals and I don't see this a being anything close to a deal as defined by what is available elsewhere.

You're thinking of a different model. Dealer cost on this rifle is WAY over $1100.

No deal here... Kentucky gun had it for 1099 two weeks ago... GM always has this gun with out sights for 1299...

KYGunCo.com has ruined their name with their price gouging and terrible customer service over the past six months to a year. I wouldn't buy anything from these guys. And yes it was a different model gun that they advertised.

Kentucky had E model that substantially cheaper.

As stated before, Gander Mountain has this gun for 1299, no credit card fees... Thou its only a E, not the FE, with just means no sights... You save 1070, less sights, and there is no sights worth 1070... Buds, you are F'ing con artists and ain't no bud of mine... https://gun.deals/product/ruger-sr-556e-centerfire-rifle-gander-mountain-0...

Also the E version doesn't come with the chromed lined barrel, only (1) mag and no rail covers. Maybe a few other things. The description on that link is wrong. check out the Ruger website for the correct specs. Just an FYI

Credit Card fees, shipping, insurance, FFL fee.. You looking close to 2500... Rather goto GM that has them allot for 17/1800 and 25 shipping... If it last on Bobs for the 3 days with there membership crap. Its not a good deal... I don't even bother with them with their membership service first pick.
I really want to pay 25 a year for 700 over prices guns and credit card fees... They are they worse internet company feeding off the fear of the law changes and screwing you everyway they can.

the ones on gander mountain for $1299 is the 556E version of this rifle. With that being said, buds is really screwing people. They get these guns for around $1250 and double the price to $2500. What a company!
