Won't order from Southern Ohio again
I ordered one of these from Southern Ohio Gun, got the confirmation, and had the order cancelled when they said my FFL wasn't current. At the same time I had two weapons from two different online sites delivered to the same FFL...
The customer service when I called was far short of satisfactory. With a couple safes almost (always almost) full, I will take my business to anywhere but here.

These are nothing but hype prices. This rifle was so over produced. With a new election coming up, Obama and all his import restrictions will go with him. As soon as Century starts importing more surplus as usual, once again, we will have crates upon crates of these rifles for sale.

$200 for a 91/30? No thank you.

Take that shit somewhere else, no one is buying that BS line of highly collectible. Highly collectable.....for the poor man maybe. These are about as highly collectible as a worn down AK47. There were so many of these made there will NEVER ever be much "collectors value". Ah, the sky is falling!!! Let's make a buck on driving up people's perception of fear....LMAO.

I collect Mosins, so I guess your statements isn't quite true. I have 5 Mosins of various models, including one 91/30. They aren't worth a lot, and they are by no means modern semi-automatic military weapons, but they *are* collectible. And since there are 17,000,000 of these out there, everybody can collect one. :)

A lot more than 17,000,000 made! Normal 91/30s aren't worth 200 to me and I collect as well but when carbines are still going for around this price local and 50 more online as well rare m91s going for a little under 300 last one on gunbroker cost me 275 for a complete Tula, why would I pay 250 for a Tula hex that's a 91/30?

I learned a long time ago, with a Harley Davidson dirt bike, that there is a huge difference between collectible and valuable. I think these are very collectible, just will never be that valuable, to me at least. Not sure I would ever pay top dollar for collectible though, finding one for cheap is half the fun.

In 2012 I went to my first gun show intent on buying a gun maybe two. I was shocked how cheap these where. My uncle who went with said no one would pay the 95$ they wanted and they would never be worth 95$. I talked them into 240$ for 4 guns. These 91/30 are soon going to go up to 200$. I own 43 of these 91/30s and the cost averages out to about 87$ a gun. So if I sell now I'll make a profit. But I'll wait. People said the same thing about WWII 1911s. My grandfather traded his issued 1911 for mossin revolver. Now I'd love have it back because 1 it would an airloom and 2 he had his quartermaster paper work with his name rank and serial number and the 1911 serial number. That gun would be worth a lot now. And look at ak47. In the 80s you could get Russian ak with 5 mags for 100$. Right now people are crying for the good ol days when they where 350$. And that's for a yugo. But you say that's different those are simi-auto and one is American (grandfather was issued a USA colt). So then how about Mauser's and springfield's and lee engfields? Price check those. They are going for a lot more than they used to and the made a lot of those guns to. These all have history tied to them even if it's only the date the gun is made. And they will run out eventually or they could get banned from import. You nEver know what's going to happen.

All I have to say is ar scare, .22lr/ammo scare, and ap ammo.. 48or so million made something retarded high.. Mauser under 200 and other Mausers under 300 and Swedish rifles for 300 why buy a rushed production mosin when you can get a Mauser..

About the Mausers. Where at? Not calling you out. Just want in on the action. And I know what you mean about the scare. I have a nice table top cnc. Made a test run of 5 ar lowers. They worked great. So I thought hay! I'll get a lawyer and get an atf firearms manufacturers permit. What a !@&$:ing nightmare. It can be done but with me working the oil industry its starve or work to death. At the time it was lots of ot. Had the cost worked out and was going to sell for 38$. Oh well. Maybe some day.

The mausers are Turkish mausers check locally at pawnshops and gunshops or armslist, they are now at about 200 shipped give or take on gunbroker and then yugos are 230 at the cheapest retailer I've found so far and everyone has Swiss weapons around 300 not Swedish my mistake there
