Its comparable to the sig in terms of quality i would say. It is lacking things like (but not limited to) the front strap checkering which could be expenensive should u decide to get it later on. Most sigs come with night sights. Sigs slide profile is not compatible with a lot of holsters. SW warranty/cust service is better.
Plus this may be the "billboard" sw1911, which is fugly. The e series is a lot more attractive and can be had for the same ballpark price is you are patient and keep checking gun.deals. I would say the e series is more of a tossup with the sig.
how is it compare to sig 1911, worht the money?
The better question would be, is a Sig comparable to a S&W, these days? Sig and it's 1911 attempt has had a very rough go with numerous quality control issues which only recently have been acted upon. I still would not touch a Sig 1911. Apart from the ugly billboard on the S&W it is a fine example, but go for the E series if available.
