I love this no matter that it is more than my budget can afford. I don't drive a Bentley (or insert fantasy car here)either but would love that too. If you can't aspire to do better for yourself without belittling others wants in this case, shame on you. Now where do I get titanium detents and silicon carbide detent springs?
Don't look at this as a $400 lower. You have to compare what you are actually gettting to what would be comparable.
Premium Billet lower $200
Norgon ambi mag release $80
Phase 5 Ambi bolt release $50
KNS anti rotation trigger/ hammer pins $25
Enhanced pivot and takedown pins $20
Battle Arms ambi selector $55
That is a $430 total for those parts, in a package that is not as streamlined as this. No, it's not for everyone but to compare it to a $100 stripped lower is completely unfair. Those who have built top shelf lowers with every option available will tell you that those options can easily add about $250 to your stripped lower. Those options are already included here in a reasonably priced and unique option.
Had this been out about a year ago, when I built ul a Joe Bob billet lower, with most of those items (no ambi bolt release), I would've picked this up instead and save the weight... Add the parts to a Seekins or Mega with ambi bolt release, and it's the same $, while this is cooler!
I'm a lefty and this is actually very true. If I was going to invest in a high-level AR I would actually buy this, as it satisfies a lot of annoying quirks the AR presents for left-handed people (Mag catch, anyone?)

This is the most detail milled lower out there..looks like every aspect was touched, you pay for what you get.

Awesome lower. good deal . considering the machining involved.
I ordered 4 of these from DOA. They are the only dealer that have these in stock.
Cost way too much and at that price point I will never get but darn... that looks good.
I'll be the first to admit this is an awesome lower...but how many people can justify spending an extra 350 dollars that offers little over a "run of the mill" stripped lower...don't consider this much of a deal

Agreed. If I had a stack of bills laying next to the fireplace I'd sate my curiosity, but for that price I'd rather build a handful of PSA lowers.

Since I and 99.99% of us are not sponsored, I will say way overpriced... beyond what I would consider reasonable. Spike's was always considered the premium but affordable brand. This price is like a f you to the Spike's fans.
i'm betting they come out with a truly stripped version that is compatible with most lpks. Right now it is a 200 buck lower with 200 bucks worth of add on whizbang tech. Titanium pins, billet bolt catch, bar stock mag release it's like they covered it in grease and dragged it around a machine shop trying to find gimmicks to stick.
