This is my first posted deal (ensure that you click link or use the MPN to search sportsmansguide.com or price goes up to 26.99) I just ordered another 3 after the first 3 arrived in GREAT used shape, not dents with minor scuffs, great seals, a little dusty but in GREAT SHAPE!

That's a good price on a fat 50, particularly with a free shipping code.

I've ordered tons of used regular 50 cal cans from SPG over the years. They've run the gamut from nearly new to 'We've been storing this beauty in the guts of the USS Arizona, just waiting for you to order it" (rusty and dinged to hell...). I stopped ordering regular 50cal cans from them as the last two batches I ordered were just terrible with rust, dents, gouges. Not 'gently used showing affects of long-term storage'. (Unless they store them outside, in the rain, in Georgia...)

Tempted to pick a few of these up at that price though.

If you need an ammo box no matter which caliber, this is one is brand new and for the same price http://www.sportsmansguide.com/product/index/new-50-cal-ammo-can?a=1786220.... I received mine a couple of weeks ago an is in excellent, brand new condition.

But this is not a "FAT" one. The original post is for a box 2 1/2" wider that the one you mentioned. Some may want that extra width.

Just an FYI,
Last time I ordered Ammo cans when they were on sale, they were in horrible condition. One was rusted through almost to the bottom, and the others were just as ugly. Maybe other people have had better experiences

same for me.... a couple years ago I got some nasty cans on sale here, had to send them back. Been buying only "new" ever since
