One should always train with what you intend to carry, including ammo. There's so many pistols Available now and they ALL have certain characteristics, point of aim, trigger pull, level of compatibility with ones hand and grip, and so on. They also often have certain ammo they like and dislike. So if your training with cheap ass bulk FMJ and then you carry a hollow point, self defense round with a different grain bullets, you can lose advantage of knowing the ammo your defending your life with will in fact RUN in your pistol. If one doesn't have ultra confidence in your own abilities and nerves, or knowing for sure your guns gonna go bang every time then you might as well not carry because you can become the target and or escalate a dangerous situation. Make sense? So yeah I'd buy these for plinking, selling
Etc but when it comes to actual use of such rounds as strictly defensive rounds and not use during your actual training, it's a mistake.
