I see..I only have the 2 Ruger AR556. Definetly don't need that tool since ruger redisigned the delta ring to spin back on threads instead of like the design on your Windham.

Looks and feels better.
The installation guide is not made for the kind of delta ring. And the tool for the delta ring is worthless too

What tool..the delta ring spins back by hand?.. are you talking about the small tool for the front sight elevation adjustment?

Some one needs to make a YouTube video

Yep...probably not a bad idea.. The hardest part is getting the front lower piece to fit into the upper piece and rest into the handgaurd harness...wiggle and forward force is needed. The second time is much easier now that you figured it out. How do you like it?

I just bought it. Thanks!
I'm ganna put it next to the Windham SRC tomorrow . I know for sure the hand guards are better on the Windham .

Cool...happy shooting. Let me know how you like it after shooting compared to the Windham...Curious..thx

Thanks for the link.
You know what else? The hand guards need to go . They feel and look cheap.I guess I have to order the Magpul MOE SL Hand Guard like the others.

Yep...that was the first thing I swapped on mine...no internal heat shield on the Ruger HG..but most Entry level ARs cheap out the handgaurd.
I kept my grip and stock as they work fine for me...
Here is a link to the SL handgaurd that I bought..33 bucks & free shipping. ( be advised the SL model covers the front QD sling port below the A2 sight....so if you use a sling you'll have to modify the handgaurd or use a Magpul sling mount on the HG

(Copy and paste the link..not sure why it won't work on this board)

I picked up mine today.
Too bad it didn't come with a plastic case like my cheapo $499 Windham SRC :-)

Got mine too..I was expecting the white Ruger box...cause this is my second bought.
If you are looking for a kick ass case...Below is the one I have 4 mine (first link) and it's still on sale. You won't find a better price on it...As I have scoured the net..
They also have other Blackhawk classes on sale that are less expensive..but inferior in duty strength (second link)...hope you find a good one.

If you received an email receipt, I would not worry. I ordered mine on the 13th and it took 18 hours to processes and ship. But that was on a Wens. night. Today is MLK day...so call and see if they are open, If not your processing is obviously going to be delayed.

Ordered this using 4 pay. Got confirmation number. How long does it take to show up on my account under my orders? No email confirmation yet either.

I'm noticing the same thing, ATI Omni hybrid for under $500 today. April will be the time to buy, unless evil acts out again and the semi auto rifle gets the blame.

Hey Letsgamble23..Yes the carbine length Magpul SL model fits it perfectly and has an internal heat shield
( which the stock handgaurd does not). I chose it cause it gives the AR more of a mid length look and additional gripping area. (Be advised as posted already,it does cover over the QD port in the bottom of the front sight). It is easy to install...just follow the included instructions.. Below Is the link to aim surplus where I bought mine (33 bucks w/free shipping) as well as the active link to where I bought my Magpul bipod mount and bipod for it...(If you use a bipod). Note..if you buy the bipod mount, do not install the handgaurd before you receive the mount......so you won't have to remove the handgaurd to install it later..like I did!
GLTY...if you need any more info email me at [email protected] ...as I may or may not check back here.

If the links don't work, just copy and paste them into your browser...

Im not sure of the code youre referring to but I was able to set my purchase up. Have you tried using different browsers or different computers? I was using my cellphone and it had issues when ordering but switched to my laptop and used Google Chrome. Sometimes you have to clear your browser. Upon checkout I was asked if i wanted to get a free month membership to get the member price and i agreed and then setup the 4 pay system. Tracking says it has left facility so pretty sure it's locked in. Sorry it's given you problems. It looks like there's still some in stock maybe try again?

Thanks for the idea, but the code I and a few others are talking about is one that was sent to us when they didn't honor a previous ammunition offer. Someone stated they were able to use it on this gun purchase.

So I tried my e Certificate code just to see if it would work on this item and found it didn't work so I just assumed no one else's would work either. But then I tried to see if it would work on any other items and it didn't so I thought maybe it is just the code they sent me. But the code they sent me was "GC Code" which seems like a generic code that may have been the same one sent to all that received it. Most likely the code is tied to the accounts it was issued to and therefore it probably is just a snafu with it being activated with my account.

Btw, one of the conflicting stories I was told by customer service when I inquired about the ammo deal they canceled was they claimed to have actually sent out some orders of the ammo and called back the shipments unless the buyer wanted to pay the adjusted price. When they told me that I couldn't believe it. Plus it didn't make any sense because the ammo was being sold with an expected availability date of 1/25/2016 so how could they have had any in stock to send out?

The more I inquired the more conflicted their responses became. I think some of you guys may be a little surprised as to some of what was told to me by customer service. Although some of it was via a phone call. I do have enough email correspondences to substantiate my claim if anyone would care to see them.

I was just saying that I don't get that good of a deal after all is said and done. Said I was happy for the people that did get a good deal on This riffle. Also said I think sportmens guide are SCUMBAGS. It's just an opinion live with it or don't lol

I tried the code on several things and it says it's invalid. Maybe there is a problem with my code but I suspect it is the same code as everyone that received it.

Those that say they got a FedEx tracking number...can you let us know when it actually shows the gun was picked up and is enroute?

I have been a SG club member and customer for several years now and never had a problem. But I recently had a problem when I ordered a great deal only to have it cancelled and was given three completely different reasons for doing so.

Then I get an email entitled "your wish list" with a link that took me to my very same order they cancelled, allowing me to again purchase the item at a considerably higher price.

This irritated me because they were either clueless or being dishonest. So I have decided I will not buy from them again. Upon researching complaints at various websites I found this to be a common complaint.

Another common complaint I saw was they offer a really good deal to get you to join their club and then the order is cancelled. But your credit card has already been charged for the membership, so when you call and tell them the only reason you purchased the membership was because of the item they had on sale which they subsequently cancelled. No problem they say, we will issue a refund only it will take a minimum of two billing cycles.

I was very surprised to see the number of complaints that showed a trend of what can only be described as questionable business practices. Like I said, for years I never had a problem, so I never had a need to deal with customer service and always felt I was getting some good deals.

But...screw me once shame on you...screw me twice shame on me.

I hope those that ordered the gun actually get it...because it appears to be a really good deal. But then again so was my last order, that got cancelled.

SAINT PAUL, MN 01/15/16 05:30 AM Enroute

They are on the shady side but I have always gotten my order. Big thing I have found as they advertise a brand item and it is actually a knockoff, never order OEM magazines from them.

Gentlemen, the $30 spent for the buyers club is well worth the money.
SG, threwout the year have some great sales and coupons you can use.
For example, I picked up my Eotech 512 for $340 shipped. Nobody and i mean nobody has ever offered them NIB at that price.
This is just one example of the benefits of being a club member.

Why are you trying to discourage people who don't live in Nevada from getting this deal?
