This is one of two alternate Glock 30 models. The Glock 30S (S stands for “slide”) is built on the Gen 3 30SF frame (short frame) but has a thinner slide. It was introduced in 2013. This is a great concealed-carry gun that fires a heavy-hitting 45 caliber. There are no significant differences between all Glock 30 models, they all operate in the same way. The pistol is featured with a “safe action” trigger, basic stock Glock sights, and an accessory rail for additional equipment. It comes with two double-stack 10-round magazines that have a built-in grip extension, and there are also optional 13-round magazines available. The Glock 30S doesn’t have a reversible magazine release. It is one of the most reliable and customizable guns on the market, and one of the best for self-defense defense. A short note about maintenance: recoil spring should be replaced every 5.000-8.000 rounds, and the trigger spring and slide-lock spring every 10.000 rounds. Properly maintained, it will last forever.
