From what I read, kids college funds and related. Sure he had money, but not the kind of cash it takes to write a check for every year of all those kids college tuitions, should they wish to go. I don't see a problem with that.

You're gonna pay 5 times what a mag is worth so you can "pay tribute" to some guy that made his company RICH selling you "blems" at a premium "discount"??? Now Magpul got on the death wagon by leadsingyou to believe you're getting something "limited edition" because they incorporated a stupid stamp in the mold. TRUST ME, They'll keep on selling em' as long as you tools are buying them.

Actually its Mr. "LWRC $PR", which was the worst purchase of my life... or the best, considering it opened my eyes to all this fluff and hype. Go to the LWRC forum, you can't find anyone to say anything bad about the rifle, it's like a fucking cult over there.

I'm not saying the stuff isn't good or that their barrels aren't better than standard, but I am saying none of it is even close to twice the quality of a mil-spec part... So there's nothing there to justify twice the price! Mil spec is mil spec and 7075 is 7075, no matter how its cut... Wheres the hundred dollar difference on that "superior" lower?
See the difference between me and the rest of you knob slobbers is I know when I've been taken...and I'm man enough to admit it, and SMART enough to learn from it. The quality difference between my LWRC and a buddies M&P15 is MILD at best. It's no more accurate off hand, maybe at 200yrds, but by what, an inch or two??? Yet it costs about $1500 more so I can believe because I spent more, my gun is better than his??? After the money I spent I can sure tell you LWRC's don't fail less. I have a $250 Keltec Sub 2K that has had ZERO malfunctions. Cant say that for my SPR. It FAILED on the 7th round out of the box.
So wake up lambs. What you're seeing is the transformation of the $900 AR platform into the $2400 BS platform... If you're too stupid to see it, that's your problem, keep drinking that kool-aid... But in reality nothings really changed except the marketing, some cheap NDI or magnetic testing and some unneeded coatings like Nickel Boron and Cerakote. Its all BS for profits.

You are a true moron.....First off Noveske product is better than the average DPMS, DD, Spikes etc.....I would try to explain the different rifling types, and barrel technology but it sounds like you are pretty stupid. Next, I'd explain how Noveske designed the Keymod system, helped develop the Pmag, invented the Switchblock, and helped the industry thanklessly for years.
You do actually realize that Noveske Rifleworks wasn't a cash cow like you make it out to be right? The guy died in a 1996 Toyota......and he started his shop in his dad's garage, and employs 9 people in a very modest shop, that doesn't have major accounts at mega stores.....nope, you wouldn't understand that would you?
So after all that has happened, yu wouldn't pay an extra $25 for a Pmag to put some cash in the trust fund for his orphaned children and widowed wife, who until yesterday, were going to sell the company.....?

pretty cool, but can't justify the $ right now, even for a good cause.
I wish I had the money to jump on this right now but I just can't justify the $50 at the moment. If this sticks around for a bit though and doesn't sell out then I will probably get in for one in a couple weeks.
Yeah, I just picked up one to go with the Noveske gen 2 Lower I got yesterday. John was a true American bad ass and a pioneer for the industry. I'll pay a little tribute.....times are tight though for sure!! Obama made sure of that.
